Progress Rum, Silver Blend #V, is an exquisite fusion of aged and unaged rums that creates a truly unique drinking experience. Dubbed our ‘Sipping Silver Rum’ – this distinctive blend begins with aged Dominican and Trinidadian rums that have been carefully charcoal-filtered to remove the color imparted by the oak during the aging process.

The blend is then emboldened by an un-aged, funky pot still Jamaican rum and an un-aged blend of various lighter Caribbean rums. Silver Blend #V offers a tantalizing array of vibrant tropical fruit and citrus aromas, followed by more subtle, nuanced notes of the aged rums. Exceptionally smooth and mellow, this rum delights the palate with a long, luxurious finish and minimal burn.

About the Producer

Progress Rum is the brainchild of brothers Anthony and Jesus Costa, first-generation Americans raised in the vibrant city of Hialeah, Florida. Known as 'The City of Progress', Hialeah has been a beacon of hope for Cuban immigrants seeking refuge from the deteriorating living conditions on the island.

This unique city has now become a home to the largest population of Cubans outside of Cuba. In tribute to their Cuban heritage and the unique culture of Hialeah, Anthony and Jesus crafted a spirit brand that weaves together the two. Progress Rum is more than just a beverage for the Costa brothers; it is a narrative, a celebration of the fusion of their Cuban and American roots.

Every drop of this distinctive blend tells a story of resilience, diversity, and progress. Each blend is crafted with a unique combination of Spanish and English-style rums, embodying the fusion of their two cultures.
