It is aged in new American oak barrels and is named in honor of Gabriela Mistral, a Chilean recipient of the Nobel Prize for Literature. This Pisco hits the nose with an intriguing combination of grape spirit and American oak, and a distinct woody fragrance due to extended rest in new barrels. You may mistake it for a high-quality young cognac.
Notes of dried fruit, plum and raisins, fused with aromas provided by American oak wood such as toasted hazelnuts, oak and hints of vanilla and caramel, achieving a pisco of great character, with a round and consistent body.
Produced in Chile’s famed Elqui Valley, Mistral Nobel pisco is comprised of Muscatel of Alexandria and Pedro Jimenez grape-based pisco aged in American oak (medium toast) barrels for 1-3 years.

About the Producer
Mistral Distillery
In the heart of Chile’s sun soaked Elqui Valley lies pisco Elqui, a village of imposing landscapes, serpentine streets, and creole architecture.
It was here where pisco was first distilled in Chile at the turn of the 17th century and where the present-day Mistral distillery is located, in a revamped century-old country house where the finest pisco varietals of the world are painstakingly produced.
