For over 50 years, the La Cofradia distillery has been bottling some of the finest tequila ever to grace the palates of drinkers. Using only the best agaves, traditional production methods, and artisanal containers, their take on Mexico’s iconic liquor is a veritable treat to the senses. The La Brune Reposado Tequila Edition Catrina - formerly La Cofradia pays homage to La Catrina, the iconic skeleton lady closely associated with the Mexican Día de Muertos, or Day of the Dead. Made from 100% blue weber agave, the plants are baked, crushed, and double-distilled before being aged for 11 months before being bottled in a ceramic container hand-painted with the lovely likeness of La Catrina herself.
