Part of their acclaimed Single Cask series, the Scotch is crafted from 100% malted Scottish barley, dried over peat flames, and distilled in copper stills before being aged in refill sherry butts. After this long maturation period, the barrel is tapped, and its contents bottled at cask-strength to create a unique and intense expression that is bound to please even the most discriminating Scotch drinker.

Tasting Notes:

Nose: Pleasing aroma consisting of citrus notes, light oak, sherry, and a hint peat smoke.

Palate: Sweet and rich palate of vanilla, more sherry and citrus.

Finish: Lingering finish with dry sherried notes.

About the Producer

Founded in 1798 by Magnus Eunson, the Highland Park distillery stands as Scotland’s northern most distillery situated in Kirkwall in the Orkney Islands. Their whiskeys are renowned for their exceptionally smoky.

Magnus Eunson was a direct descendant of Orkney’s early Vikings settlers. With its hallmark flavor profile of intensely balanced smoky sweetness, Highland Parks range of award-winning permanent and special editions pays homage to the brand’s proud Viking roots and the exacting standards laid down by Magnus over 220 years ago.

Highland Park is made today, just as it was in 1798, using five keystones of production. No other distillery uses all five keystones, so no other whisky tastes like Highland Park.

By the 1880s Highland Park had an established reputation and at one time both the King of Denmark and the Emperor of Russia declared it to be the finest whisky they had ever tasted.
