Ron Centenario 12 Years Gran Legado is a blend of rums aged in American white oak barrels after being put through a special distillation process. This process consolidates the flavor of almonds, ripe bananas, orange zest and nougat. It is slightly sweeter than Centenario 7. An impressive rum in flavor, essence, and quality.

This process consolidates the flavor of almonds, ripe bananas, orange zest and nougat. It is slightly sweeter than Centenario 7. An impressive rum in flavor, essence, and quality.

Tasting Notes:

This amber colored rum shows hints of almonds, pralines, ripe bananas, almond sponge cake, orange zest, dark caramel, and nougat. The lingering finish has accents of amontillado sherry, apple blossoms, chamomile tea, sugared raisins, and mocha, underscored by oak notes.

Enjoy this amber-hued Ron Centenario 12 Anos Rum Gran Legado from Costa Rica after an elegant dinner or while celebrating special occasions. The aroma of caramel and spice enhances a rich aged-oak nutty flavor. The undertones of baked apple pie, cinnamon and nutmeg are perfect over ice or blended in mixed drinks.
