Produced in Italy since 1786 from a heavily guarded recipe, this is actually the first vermouth ever made. Crafted from Piedmont’s muscatel and rich wines from southern Italy, its distinctive taste and aroma come from carefully selected brewed mountain herbs. Drink it as an aperitif or digestif, or mix it in refined cocktails like the Negroni and the Americano. It won a Silver medal at the 2015 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.

Product Details
This vermouth has notes of vanilla, along with spices including star anise, as well as orange peels and dates. It’s been produced in Italy since 1786, and has the distinction of being the first vermouth ever made. It’s unique, inimitable recipe remains unchanged to this day, and legend has it that since it was first invented, only three people—each of whom knows his or her own part of the formula but not the formulas of the other two—must always be involved in the preparation of the formula, keeping the recipe a secret for more than three centuries. Crafted from Piedmont’s muscatel and rich wines from southern Italy, and sweetened by a spirit, its distinctive taste and aroma come from carefully selected brewed mountain herbs. Drink it as an aperitif or digestif, or mix it in refined cocktails like the Negroni and the Americano.
