Beefeater London Dry Gin 750 ML
Noilly Prat Dry Vermouth 375 ML
Angostura Aromatic Orange Bitter 118 ML
Pitted Green Olives 10.6 oz.
Classic Martini Recipe:
Ingredients:
2 ¼ oz Beefeater Dry Gin
1 oz Noilly Prat Dry Vermouth
3 dashes Angostura Orange Bitter
1 lemon twist, for garnish
1 olive (for garnish)
Preparation:
Place a martini glass in the freezer. Skewer olives on cocktail pick, and make the lemon twist. Fill a small sidecar bowl with ice for garnishes to sit on.
Combine bitters, vermouth, and gin in a mixing glass filled with ice. Fill glass with ice and stir rapidly. Continue adding ice and stirring until the additional ice has been submerged within the cocktail.
Strain the cocktail into the chilled martini glass. Express the lemon twist over the cocktail. Place expressed lemon twist and three skewered olives on the ice-filled sidecar. Serve immediately.
About the Producer
Welcome to one of London’s best kept secrets – the Beefeater Distillery in Kennington – where our gin is still hand-crafted to a recipe that is virtually unchanged since the 1800s.
London, one of the world’s great cities, has played a leading role in the development of London Dry Gin, one of the world’s great drinks. From the dawn of English gin distilling, the history of London and Beefeater Gin has been closely intertwined.
Housed in an Edwardian building with a 1950s extension, the Beefeater Distillery features original Victorian pot stills and a botanical room, where the fresh ingredients are stored. A custom-built visitor centre allows connoisseurs to see the original stills, view the distilling process and learn about the history of gin in London.
