Tasting Notes:

Rich gold in appearance, BACARDÍ Reserva Ocho Rum has warming notes of wood, apricot, nutmeg & butterscotch. Each batch is made from a special selection of barrel-aged reserve rums and aged for a minimum of 8 years, giving it a refined flavor with notes of prune, apricot, nutmeg and vanilla.

Serving Suggestion:

Perfect on its own or as the base for classic cocktails like the Old Cuban or Rum Old Fashioned. Used only for the most special occasions, this golden sipping rum is one of the oldest private rum blends in the world. Great in an Old Fashioned or neat on it’s own.

About the Producer

Bacardi sets up facilities in Mexico and Puerto Rico ‒ to date two of the largest production facilities within Bacardi.

Mexico is the first country BACARDÍ rum is produced in outside of Cuba. Today, the facility in Cataño, Puerto Rico, is the largest premium rum distillery in the world.

Bacardi is founded on February 4 by Don Facundo Bacardí Massó in Santiago de Cuba, when he buys a small distillery and revolutionizes the rum-making process to create a smooth, light-bodied spirit – what the world now knows as BACARDÍ rum.

Our spirits are exquisitely crafted with long tradition and great pride. And, as a 7th generation family company, our business has always been about more than liquids or bottles.
