Sam Houston 15-Year-Old Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey is our most aged bourbon offering to date and embodies all the characteristics that make this Kentucky Straight Bourbon distinct, just like Sam Houston himself. This entire release was crafted from specific barrels in a private reserve of premium bourbon.
Select barrels were sampled and ranked by a hand chosen group of industry insiders and bourbon enthusiasts. The taste profile captured in the barrel sampling process showcases the care and craft utilized in creating this limited and extremely rare bourbon. A bourbon is the only offering from the brand currently, and the company is taking the model of producing limited annual/semi-annual batch releases.
Release No. 1 was a 12-year bourbon released in 2018. In 2019, two more 12-year batches were released as No. 2 and No. 3. 2020 introduced older bourbons with two 14-year-olds as Releases No. 4 and No. 5. The follow up in 2021, Release No. 6, is the brand’s first 15-year-old bourbon. Per the company, Release No. 6 was “crafted from specific barrels in a private reserve of premium bourbon.” (One still can’t help but presume that all of this was made from the same stock, but inquiring minds want to know.)

About the Producer
Sam Houston's life was that of a true legend and patriot. He ran away from home at a young age. For a short time, he lived with a Cherokee tribe in the Hiwassee River area. Eventually, he was given the name Colonneh, meaning the Raven, and adopted into the tribe as Chief John Jolly’s son.
He grew up to be a fierce soldier and strategist. At one point, with a small out-numbered, under-supplied force, his men defeated the Mexican general Santa Anna. Houston's men suffered few casualties, but a stray bullet shattered his ankle. The decisive victory forced Santa Anna to sign the Treaty of Velasco, granting Texas its independence.
Sam Houston was well-respected as one of the great political men of his day, serving as a congressman, a governor and twice as the president of the Republic of Texas. He was brutally honest and a man of principle.
This premium, perfectly aged, well-crafted bourbon is offered in tribute to the life of Sam Houston, an honest and patriotic man.
