Product Details

The producers believe that playing classical music (they are partial to Mozart) during its double-fermentation and double-distillation assures high quality for this small batch aged Tequila. Crafted from 100% agave and aged at least one year in American oak barrels, its name translates to “hunters,” and there is a picture of a stag on each label. Of the past and for the future, this golden-toned spirit serves the senses with flavors of cinnamon, pepper and citrus. Try it in a snifter, alongside a chaser of Sangrita and a wedge of lime.

About the Producer

Cazadores Tequila was founded in 1922 by Jose Maria in Arandas in Los Altos, in the Highlands of Jalisco, Mexico. Maria began making Tequila in secret; in 1973, his descendants built a distillery and began marketing and distributing their product. The name “cazadores” translates as “hunters,” and there is an image of a stag on each bottle. Production is done to the sounds of classical music, which the producers believe make a high quality product. In 2002, the brand was acquired by Bacardi.
