About the Producer

Kentucky Bourbon Distillers (KBD) was founded in 1935 by John David Willett as the Willett Distilling Company. After changing hands several times, the company started doing business as KDB in the mid-1980s, but also continued to use the Willett Distilling Name; in 2012 it began promoting the Willett name as its primary business name. Around fourteen people are employed by the company: four family members and eight to twelve line workers.

    My new favorite

    (Posted on 5/9/2017)

A friend introduced me to this a few months ago and it's my new favorite. Super drinkable, smooth, slightly sweet at first. I used to be a Maker's guy and realized there are lots of better options that don't cost a ton more but taste a ton better. Trying to order more now.

This is just good, not sure how else to explain it. Smooth, simple, easy to drink, from nose to palate it is exceptional.

I tried this in a bourbon flight at Proof in Louisville. It was my favorite. The bartender said it was the most under appreciated bourbon they sold. Get some!
