Product Details

Light straw in the glass from the short time spent in the barrel, this Tequila has robust aromas that are full of fruit and cooked agave, pulling in vanilla and slightly woody notes from the barrel. Distinctively sweet agave shines on the palate, mellowed slightly by the woody notes of the barrel; the finish leaves the mouth feeling smooth and clean, with a lingering invigorating warmth. Lightly aged for 45 days in white oak barrels, this silver Tequila rolls across the tongue without biting it, and it can be enjoyed neat, on the rocks or in a cocktail; it won a Silver medal at the 2014 New York World Wine & Spirits Competition.

About the Producer

Tequila Herradura (officially Grupo Industrial Herradura) is a Tequila distiller located in Amatitán, Jalisco, Mexico. It was formally founded in 1870 by Félix López, and the business remained in the family for over one hundred and twenty-five years. Today, it is owned by U.S. beverage maker Brown-Forman, but the Tequila is still made in the same place and facilities under a Mexican subsidiary. Tequila products sold under the Herradura name are still 100% agave, made in the same traditional ways as those of the last century.
