This Cognac has a deep amber color, and aromas of flowers, intense spices and fruit. The palate shows flavors of lychee and spice including ginger and cinnamon, while the finish is elegant and rich. The spirit is a rare offering, made from blends aged at least forty years and named in honor of the king of France. It comes packaged in an individually numbered replica of the original flask discovered on the site of the battle of Jarnac.
