Product Details
A unique blend of botanicals were specially selected and individually distilled or macerated to give this modern style gin from the Netherlands its distinctive, all-natural flavor and aroma. The spirit features fresh notes of Turkish rose, peach and raspberry. Floral and fruity, the spirit is designed for a new generation of gin drinkers. Stir it with Lillet Blanc for a delicate, aromatic Martini, or mix it with tonic over ice for a fresh sipping experience. The gin scored 93 points in 2011 from the Beverage Testing Institute. Rated World's Best Gin 2016 Cigar & Spirits Magazine.About the Producer
The Nolet Distillery was founded in 1691 in Holland by Joannes Nolet, and has remained in the hands of the family since that time. Today, it is run by Carolus Nolet, Sr., the tenth generation descendant of the founder. The distillery is known for producing gins and vodkas, including Ketel One Vodka. In 2008, Diageo purchased half ownership of the company.1 People Have Already Reviewed This Product

A very non-traditional gin from one of the oldest family-run companies in history. The Nolet's distillery, located in Schiedam, Holland, was established in 1691 at the dawn of gin's creation. The company boasts 11 generations of distillers. Gin, in essence, is a simplified variation of the ancient Belgium/Dutch spirit Genever. One would assume that an over 320-year-old company would be mired in rigorous tradition--but in actuality they are astoundingly forward thinking, which is perhaps why they have survived and prospered for so long. They are the same company that brought the world Ketel One vodka in 1983. Eleventh generation sons and their tenth generation fathers collaborated to create the Silver gin. Nolet's Silver is distinctively sweet fruit and floral forward (Turkish rose, white peach, raspberry) and then seamlessly ends with an elegant backbone of juniper. The nose is perfume, more so than any other gin I am familiar with. The body is smooth silk and savory with plenty of lush oils. Some may be turned off by the strong rose notes (particularly die-hard classic dry drinkers) and overall feminine attributes. But make no mistake about it--she is no damsel in distress. She is elegant, yet at the top echelon of sophistication and power. Nolet's Silver is the drink of a queen, as well as the drink of a man brave enough not be intimidated by a lead heroine.
